it feels so good to lay back in your most comfortable cozy clothes and chill.
especially after a really busy and exhausting day like today. i was really busy at work helping F.I T and Parsons student assholes,( no ofence if ur a student there but, if i dont know you and you annoy me for free swatches everyday and never buy anything.. i pretty much hate you), today i forced an asian student to say "please" when she asked me for a swatch. im sorry but if you are gonna come into a store and ask for help for free swatches ,at least be nice and respectful to the people helping you.and dont interrupt when the sales people are actually helping out a customer who is actually purchasing something for a free swatch.
anyways....lol
i ate a heavy lunch with nova and shahla and that got me so tired and full. we ate a spanis food place with amazing lentill soup, rice and beans!
also took the bus with shahla after work to aa to exchange my gift from dana( yay!), i finally did it. also felt productive on the subway and sketched some ideas for some outfits i want to make for myself......

this will be out a cotton jersey. love it!













then i have this regular cotton shirting: it has arrows, so FETCH!

so, i have this customer that keps sending me gift certificates to starbucks. they rock and really nice to work w/. that really helps out in a big way and they have no idea how much i appreciate it! :)
also, i found another fabric today. i put it on hold so i can one day buy everything i need....
my to do list:
1. illustrate on RED shirt from uniqlo.
2. call lindsay for a lunch date, since she is no linger working w/ me.
3. Remind lindsay that i want to buy her sewing machine ;).
4. go to american apparel and exchange a gift.
5. buy fabric i have on hold + muslin and pattern paper.
6. call isabella for lunch.
7. buy paint and a brush.
................. thats all i can think of for now. :)

i really want to sew sew sew!!!
but for now, i'll just sketch my future outfits.

so, i found a place that sells cheap shirts.... have not tried my shirt on yet...so we will see if i like them, (i'm sure i will)....... they come in a variety of colors and sizes.. so exiting!
so maybe i'll be producing more t-shirts for y'all..and me of course.

i cant wait for the warm weather to finally kick in.. hopefully i will be getting a sewing machine soon so i can make myself some summer outfits..
i have been buying fabric and it has started to pile up!
i want to make more shirts like the one i made for x-mas/fashion week....
( i am wearing the shirt i made @ the tents w/ shahla!)










i bought some suspenders today! yay. maybe i'll wear them tomorrow.
